After reviewing this practice, Head Office has decided that going forward, Stylists should not remove, replace or edit out another person featured in a company image and insert themselves in their place.
Why We Are Taking This Approach
Although we appreciate the positive intent, this practice can create risks around:
- Respecting the identity and representation of people featured in our marketing
- Inconsistency in how images are altered and used across the field
- Potential misunderstandings around permissions or approvals
- Protecting the integrity of our brand and marketing materials
For these reasons, we believe the right approach is to keep original approved imagery unchanged.
What Is Still Allowed
Stylists may continue to use approved MeAmora marketing materials as provided by Head Office.
You may also personalise content through:
- Adding your own captions, branding and social messaging
- Using approved templates designed for personalisation
- Requesting assets from Head Office that allow you to feature yourself appropriately
New Support from Head Office
To support personalisation in the right way, we will begin:
1. Providing blank or editable versions of selected marketing assets
These will be designed so Stylists can insert their own image without altering or removing another person.
2. Responding to requests for personalised creative support
If there is a company image or campaign you would like adapted into a “blank version,” you may request this from Head Office for consideration.
3. Expanding approved customisable tools over time
Where demand exists, we will look to create more flexible assets that support local promotion while protecting brand standards.
Product Images
Please also remember that product images must not be altered, distorted or edited in a way that changes the appearance, packaging, colour, performance or expected results of a product.
Moving Forward
This guidance is intended to protect our community, support fairness and make personalisation easier through approved routes rather than restricting creativity.
Thank you for continuing to represent MeAmora professionally and for helping us build a brand that i
