Using stickers on your Stories and Reels is a great way to personalise your content, make it instantly recognisable and add your own unique branding. You’ll find a selection of stickers available on DASH for you to use, but it’s also great if you’d like to create your own. See our separate guide for more details on creating custom stickers.
Here is a very simple step-by-step guide.
How to Add Stickers to a Facebook Story
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap Create Story.
- Choose a photo or video, or take a new one.
- Tap the Sticker icon (a square smiley face) at the top of the screen.
- Choose the sticker you want, such as:
- GIF
- Music
- Poll
- Location
- Emoji
- Avatar
- Drag the sticker to where you want it.
- Pinch with two fingers to make it bigger or smaller.
- Tap Share to post your Story.
How to Add Stickers to a Facebook Reel
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap Create Reel.
- Record a video or choose one from your phone.
- Tap the Sticker icon during editing.
- Select the sticker you want.
- Move and resize it if needed.
- Finish editing your Reel.
- Tap Share to publish it.
Can You Upload Your Own Stickers?
Yes, but only if the feature is available on your account.
If you see a Create Sticker or Cutout option:
- Open a Story or Reel.
- Tap the Sticker icon.
- Tap Create Sticker or Cutout.
- Choose a photo from your phone.
- Facebook/Meta automatically cuts out the main subject.
- Tap Use Sticker.
- Place it anywhere on your Story or Reel.
